When installing the Victaulic Knife Gate Valve after taking out another branded valve, you will need to calculate a face to face dimension to make up any difference in gap in the pipeline. The dimensions needed to perform the calculation are available in the product submittal 08.25. If needed, please contact Victaulic for assistance in calculating these pipe dimensions.
This valve is designed to join grooved end carbon steel pipe both unlined and rubber lined. For systems requiring joining steel elbows, high density polyethylene (HDPE) or other pipe material types please contact Victaulic for details.
The Victaulic Knife Gate Valve seat cartridge replacement kit contains the knife, packing gland, retaining plate, seat gasket and applicable bolt/nut hardware.
This valve only has to be maintained as often as you would regularly maintain the rest of your piping system. There is no need to shut down your job site on account for this valve.
